New Hanover County Health and Human Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional to join our School Mental Health Program, supporting the emotional well-being and academic success of students across the county. The role is school-based, focusing on assessments, therapy, and care coordination.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and licensure such as LCSW, LCMHC, or LPA.

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic school-based setting.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and initial intake evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy within schools.
• Identify client needs and connect students and families to community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and submit billing information.
• Prepare written reports as required.
