Job summary

Heart of Florida Health Center is hiring a School-Based Licensed Clinical Therapist to provide assessments, psychotherapy, and referrals at East Marion Elementary School. You will deliver individual, couples, and family therapy to students, staff, and families, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to address anxiety, depression and other behavioral health needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and active Florida licensure (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field; required for fully licensed applicants.
• Active, unrestricted Florida licensure as LCSW/LMHC/LMFT is required.
• Clinical experience in behavioral health assessment, counseling or psychotherapy, preferably with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or family therapy to students, staff and families.
• Assess patients using biopsychosocial model; utilize tools like GAD-7, PHQ-9, SBIRT, MDQ.
• Document assessments and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with medical providers, school personnel and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure ethical, high-quality care.
