Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is hiring a Licensed Therapist to provide mental health counseling, outpatient therapy and crisis intervention for students in Hampton City Schools. The role requires an LCSW/LPC/LCP with 2 years of clinical experience and eligibility for MCO credentialing.

The position involves individual, group, and family therapy, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with families and school personnel.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with LCSW, LPC, or LCP credentials and two years of clinical experience including therapy, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Must be eligible or approved for MCO credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned clinical caseload providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, education, and support to students and families.
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, community providers, and other professionals to coordinate care and referrals.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in the school-based behavioral health team, with supervision to unlicensed therapists/interns as appropriate.
