Nord Center Therapeutic Academy (NCTA) seeks an Intervention Specialist to deliver targeted instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and each student’s IEP. You will implement individualized plans to promote academic, social, emotional, and functional growth in students with diverse learning needs.

The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to special education regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, therapists, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in special education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and IEPs.
• Develop individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies.
• Assess progress and use data to guide instruction and interventions.
• Create and maintain compliant IEP documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with families, service providers, and administrators to support student achievement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with diverse needs using evidence-based practices.
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development.
