Job summary

Nord Center Therapeutic Academy (NCTA) in Warrensville Heights, OH, seeks an Intervention Specialist to provide instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and each student's IEP. You will support academic, social, emotional, and functional growth in a school setting. The role offers 8:00 a.m.

– 4:00 p.m. hours, a $50,000–$60,000 salary, sign-on bonus of $500, and a Monday–Friday schedule (35–40 hours weekly).

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to commute to Warrensville Heights, OH.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and IEPs.
• Develop individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies.
• Assess progress and use data to guide instruction.
• Maintain IEP documentation and educational records.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development.
