New Story Schools in Ohio is seeking an Intervention Specialist to lead a small, self-contained classroom of six students, delivering individualized, data-driven daily instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals.

You will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts, RBT paraprofessionals, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Language Pathologist to coordinate supports for students and families, while maintaining thorough documentation for compliance and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field required.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Alternative Resident Educator License required.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong collaboration and communication with families and school teams.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction and behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, self-contained classroom of six students with individualized instruction.
• Collaborate with RBTs and paraprofessionals who support ABA and data collection.
• Coordinate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist.
• Plan and teach lessons aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Assess academic, behavioral, and social growth using data and adjust instruction.
• Maintain clear documentation to support compliance and progress monitoring and communicate with families.
