Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full inclusion or co-teaching in a resource room.
• Growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Able to pass FBI/BCI background checks.
• Experience in multicultural settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and adapt interventions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Carry out functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and develop goals.
• Monitor student achievement and school culture goals.
• Use research-based planning and culturally responsive instruction.
• Serve as advisor for designated group of students.
• Communicate with families about student progress.
• Plan and participate in non-instructional activities and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
