Job summary

Performance Academies in Columbus, OH is seeking an Intervention Specialist to support K–8 and High School students by delivering specialized instruction, co‑teaching, and accommodations for IEPs, 504s, and BIPs. You will help track progress and advocate for student needs.

The role requires a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license, background checks, and proficiency with IDEA regulations, data monitoring, and educational software. School hours run 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license.
• Pass background checks and compliance with IDEA regulations.
• Experience with IEPs, 504s, and BIPs; data monitoring.
• Proficiency in IDEA regulations, data monitoring, and educational software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction, co-teaching, and accommodations for students with IEPs, 504s, and BIPs; track progress and advocate for student needs.
• Write, update, and lead meetings for IEPs, ETRs, FBAs, and 504 Plans per state and federal guidelines.
