Waco Family Medicine is seeking a School-Based Services Coordinator to support daily administrative functions of the school-based programs, including patient registration, scheduling coordination, and Medicaid eligibility verification at the S.18th clinic site.

You will work closely with clinical staff and school personnel to ensure smooth operations across vision, behavioral health, dental, and medical services, and to optimize patient flow and documentation in EPIC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of customer service or administrative experience required.
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary administrative support for the school-based vision clinic at S.18th site.
• Assist with vision clinic day operations, including schedules and patient flow.
• Process eyeglass orders and coordinate delivery to campuses.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility and assist with Medicaid-related duties.
• Enter patient information into EPIC and coordinate across school sites.
