Job summary

Signature Health, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Counselor to provide diagnostic assessments and counseling services within a school setting.

You will develop treatment plans, deliver individual, group, and family counseling, and coordinate with school staff and families to support students. You will maintain thorough documentation, adhere to HIPAA, and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid unencumbered LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LIMFT or MFT license in Ohio required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Understand children’s development, parenting, and family systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessment for referred students and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver school-based counseling (individual, group, and family) and prevention services.
• Coordinate with school staff, parents, and community resources.
• Maintain documentation in the agency EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Engage in outreach to families and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
