Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based, full-time contract near Melrose, MA. The position runs 30 hours per week, collaborating with educators and related service professionals to support student growth.

Ideal candidates have active COTA licensure and experience in pediatric or school settings, with familiarity with IEP processes and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure and certification required.
• Experience in pediatric or school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions as directed by an Occupational Therapist to help students develop or improve functional skills.
• Support student participation in classroom and school activities.
• Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and other multidisciplinary staff to implement IEP goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to classroom adaptations or modifications as needed.
• Offer resources and guidance to students and staff to optimize learning outcomes.
