Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a full-time, school-based contract in Bellingham, WA. You’ll work at one school site under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., 35 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, supporting students to reach educational goals. Requirements include COTA certification and active state licensure, school-based experience, and strong communication with students, families and staff.

Qualifications

• National certification and current state licensure as a COTA.
• Previous experience providing COTA services in a school setting is required.
• Ability to support and implement Occupational Therapist treatment plans.
• Organizational skills to maintain documentation and schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment and support to students under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to help students achieve educational goals.
• Assist with evaluations and develop progress reports.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to ensure integrated support.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
• Adapt strategies to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
