Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide direct services in a middle school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year, ASAP through June 2027. This full-time role offers consistent Monday-Friday hours totaling 35 per week.

You'll collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement IEP-directed interventions, assess student needs, document progress, and help students participate and learn effectively in inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Comfort working with middle school students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with evaluating students’ functional abilities and needs.
• Support and implement therapeutic interventions that promote participation, independence, and academic success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and services.
• Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Participate in meetings and provide input as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
