Job summary

InterCommunity, Inc. operates school-based health centers in Connecticut and seeks an experienced clinician to provide clinical services to students. The role emphasizes individual and group therapy, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with school staff within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination with external providers. Licensure in CT is required, with full-time hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health required.
• CT licensure as Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Substance Abuse Counselor required.
• Incumbents must retain a CT license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy within the school system for SBHC-registered children.
• Coordinate with school staff and multidisciplinary team to support children’s needs.
• Develop and implement measurable treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, triage, and therapy services as needed.
• Advocate and build networks to connect clients with services.
• Document treatment accurately in clinical records and reports.
• Collaborate with other behavioral health providers to improve care delivery.
• Attend mandatory department and agency meetings/trainings.
