BHcare seeks a School-Based Clinician to deliver high-quality behavioral health services within Oxford Public Schools, including several campuses. You will conduct assessments, provide therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to promote student well-being.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, CT licensure or license-eligibility, and at least one year of pediatric therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Connecticut clinical licensure required or license-eligible status (LCSW preferred; LMSW, LPC, or other qualified mental health licensure considered).
• Minimum one year of experience providing therapy and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Experience providing crisis assessments and serving children with complex behavioral health needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with students, families, schools, and community partners.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning for students referred through school-based services.
• Provide individual, family, crisis, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed approaches and CBITS.
• Respond to urgent behavioral health needs, crisis situations, and Rapid Response Evaluations, coordinating care with families, schools, hospitals, and community providers.
• Serve as a trusted liaison and advocate for students and families, helping connect them with appropriate services and resources.
• Deliver parenting support programs, clinical consultation, trauma screenings, and other specialized services that promote student well-being and success.
• Complete timely documentation, treatment updates, and clinical records in accordance with agency, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
