Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District seeks a School-based Mental Health Clinician at Oxford Elementary School (PreK-6). This clinician provides counseling, case management, and supportive services to students, families, and staff to support academic, social, emotional, development, and physical needs.

The position reports to the Building Administrator, Director of Student Support, and requires Maine clinical licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Maine clinical license (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, or LCPC-c) or evidence of eligibility.
• At least three years of successful experience preferred.
• Reports to Building Administrator, Director of Student Support.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the district's mission and maintains a positive environment with students, staff, and families.
• Provides counseling, case management, and supportive services to students and families.
• Delivers individual and group counseling and conducts mental health assessments as appropriate.
• Develops safety plans, crisis intervention, and referrals to outside agencies when needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards while coordinating with district staff.
