Job summary

Communities In Schools of South Carolina seeks a Site Coordinator to manage CIS programs at a school site, using the CIS Model to assess at-risk youth and coordinate Tiered interventions for the whole school population.

You will lead a School Support team, conduct annual needs assessments, and develop comprehensive School Support Plans with Tier 1–3 interventions. Strong teamwork, data reporting, and community partnership development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or related field.
• 2 years of applicable work experience.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license and up-to-date automobile insurance.
• Experience with student data or case management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CIS Model implementation and student support standards.
• Collaborate with school staff to assess and prioritize student needs.
• Lead School Support team and manage CIS operations at the site.
• Conduct annual needs assessments to inform the School Support Plan.
• Develop and monitor Tier 1–3 interventions and supports.
• Provide case management for at least 50 students and deliver interventions.
• Regularly collect, enter, and report student data.
• Review progress quarterly and adjust interventions as needed.
• Engage with parents/guardians of identified students.
• Prepare timely data reports for supervision.
• Recruit, train, and manage community volunteers.
• Evaluate community partners to align with student needs.
