Communities In Schools of Eastern PA seeks a Site Coordinator to implement the CIS model of integrated Student Supports in partnership with school leadership. You will assess needs, plan supports, monitor effectiveness and report outcomes to the administration.

Role emphasizes collaboration with administrators, volunteers and community resources, case management of at-risk students, and data-driven progress reporting. A bachelor's degree and Spanish bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; more welcome.
• Experience in case management, youth counseling, communications, advocacy.
• Leadership for on-site coordination of service providers, volunteers, parents, students, and staff.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create an inventory of needs and assets within a school community by collecting objective data and surveying students, families and school staff.
• Collaborate with school administrators to plan school-wide, group-level and individual student supports that address the most highly prioritized needs.
• Establish a School Support Team comprised of various school staff who can meet regularly.
• Partner with volunteers, nonprofits, government agencies to bring resources into the school.
• Case manage students identified as at-risk of dropout based on attendance, behavior, and courses.
• Strengthen relationships between school and parents/guardians through communication and family engagement.
• Collect, track, and report data regarding student outcomes using the CIS data system.
• Administer annual surveys to assess effectiveness of student and family programs.
• Deliver quarterly progress reports to School Support Team and CIS administration.
• Research and apply best practices from CIS sites and educational programs.
• Participate in CIS training and events.
• Attend CIS events and school events as required.
• Serve as a well-informed ambassador in advancing CIS mission and programs.
