Job summary

Communities In Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County is seeking a CIS Site Coordinator to oversee daily program operations at a school site. You will work closely with the principal, teachers, students, families and community partners to implement services and track progress.

Responsibilities include coordinating in‑school supports, arranging referrals, maintaining case files, and reporting outcomes while ensuring compliance with CIS standards and school policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of three years experience working with students, families, and school/community members.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard and/or technical documents.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and foster positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for identified students during the school day, and possibly before/after school.
• Interview students and families to determine needs and plan support.
• Maintain records, reports, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Counsel students individually or in groups to improve social functioning.
• Refer to community resources and track outcomes and follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with principal, teachers, and community partners to structure programs.
