Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking a compassionate Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to support students on the autism spectrum in a year-round school program in Issaquah, WA. The role involves delivering ABA services under BCBA supervision and assisting with IEPs and data collection.

You will work with therapists and educators to promote academic, social, and behavioral growth, while ensuring safety and compliance with state licensing and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Washington State CBT license is required.
• Minimum 12 hours of college credit in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ABA services under BCBA guidance.
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing IEPs and BIPs for students with autism.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, encouraging growth.
• Help students with daily tasks, including communication and self-management.
• Document data on student performance and progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with the teaching team and behavioral specialists to create a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student progress.
