Job summary

Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a Behavioral Health Support Provider (BHSP) to deliver tier two and three interventions under supervision of a licensed master’s level clinician. The role focuses on developing communication, social, functional, and pre-academic skills within MTSS for students across local districts.

The position requires a minimum Bachelor’s in psychology, special education, or related field, with basic ABA knowledge and RBT training hours within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of ABA and experience implementing behavioral techniques.
• Must complete RBT trainings hours within 90 days of hire or have comparable coursework.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and maintain stamina for repetitive activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work with behavioral health team across local school systems.
• Respond to assignments by BCBA and team.
• Model intensive behavioral instruction in tier 2 and 3 settings.
• Support staff to implement universal instructional strategies.
• Assist with data collection alongside district staff.
• Accept supervision and respond to feedback professionally.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers and administrators.
• Maintain student confidentiality per FERPA.
