TrulyHired seeks a High School Behavioral Interventionist to provide targeted behavioral, social-emotional, and educational support to a student with autism. The role focuses on accessing the general curriculum, building self-regulation, and promoting independence within the high school setting.

You will work with the Special Education team, general education staff, and administrators to implement IEPs, BIPs, and accommodations, aiming to reduce reliance on adult prompting while supporting

Formación

• Experience working with high school students on the autism spectrum.
• Knowledge of positive behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Ability to document progress clearly and communicate with the team.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations.
• Support development of self-regulation and independence.

Responsabilidades

• Implement the student's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and strategies.
• Identify triggers and prevent escalation with proactive approaches.
• Support self-regulation, social skills, and executive functioning.
• Document incidents and progress; share with case manager.
• Collaborate with Special Education and general education staff.
• Support transitions between classes and activities.
