Job summary

TrueCare in Vista, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate to support students in schools, run small groups, and conduct individual check-ins. You will help identify at-risk youth and assess clinical status to determine appropriate care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, active CA registration/licensing, and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office. BLS certification and a CA driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology or Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology.
• Active registration with California licensing boards or credentials as ASW/AMFT/APCC/psychologist trainee.
• Experience working with middle school students and in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with electronic health/medical record systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small groups and conduct individual check-ins with students.
• Assist in detecting at-risk patients and assess clinical status for appropriate care.
• Support in parent assessments and collaboration with school staff.
