Job summary

TrueCare in California seeks a Behavioral Health Associate to support students in school settings, lead small groups, conduct individual check-ins, and assist in identifying at-risk youth. You will collaborate with teachers and families to determine the most appropriate level of care and track progress.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or psychology, active BBS or psychology board registration, and experience with schools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or PhD/PsyD in Psychology.
• Active registration with BBS as pre-licensed ACSW/AMFT/APCC or Board of Psychology as pre/post-licensed.
• Experience with middle school students and school settings preferred.

Your Role & Impact

The Behavioral Health Associate works in the schools, facilitates small groups, provides individual check-ins, and parent assessments. The Behavioral Health Associate also assists in detecting "at risk" patients, recognizing and treating mental health conditions, and assesses the clinical status of patients to determine the most appropriate level of care.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or PhD / PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active Registration with the BBS as a pre-licensed ACSW, AMFT, or APCC or Active Registration with the Board of Psychology as post-doctoral pre-licensed psychologist
• Experience working with middle school students and facilitating groups.
• Experience working in a school setting is highly desired.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
• Valid California Driver’s License, proof of insurance and clean driving record.

The pay range for a licensed clinician is $70,304 to $105,456.
