Job summary

Lake Washington School District is seeking a Behavioral Health Service Clinical Specialist to provide direct counseling to students with emotional and mental health needs within the Special Services Department.

The role includes developing behavioral interventions (FBAs, PBIS, BIPs), coordinating with educators and families, and supporting crisis response planning in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Current WA licensure in behavioral health (LMHC/LICSW/LMFT/PSY).
• Experience delivering behavioral health services to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family-centered behavioral health services.
• Develop and implement interventions (FBAs, PBIS, BIPs).
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and community providers.
• Assist in IEP meetings and behavioral health planning.
• Maintain confidential records per requirements.
