Job summary

Lake Washington School District seeks a Behavioral Health Service Clinical Specialist to provide direct counseling and collaborate with educators to support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs at the Resource Center.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling or related field and WA licensure (LMHC/LICSW/psychologist/LMFT). Experience with FBAs, PBIS, IEPs and trauma-informed practices is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health counseling or related field required.
• Licensed professional in WA state preferred (LMHC/LICSW/psychologist/LMFT).
• Experience with school-based behavioral health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual, group, and family-centered behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and school staff to support student success.
• Develop and monitor FBAs, PBIS, BIPs, and crisis plans.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions.
• Deliver professional learning on trauma-informed practices and PBIS.

Education

Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling

Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
