Job summary

Signature Health, Inc. seeks a dedicated Specialist, Behavioral Health, School Based to deliver in-school behavioral health services and support for students, teachers, and staff.

You will implement targeted interventions, lead skills groups, and participate in trainings to improve student outcomes. The role involves collaborating with classroom teachers, developing care plans, and providing case management in school and community settings, with emphasis on deescalation and crisis support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in behavioral health setting; experience with children, adolescents and families preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Understanding of children’s development, parenting, and family systems.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services in school and classroom to support students, teachers, and staff.
• Provide targeted behavior interventions and coaching, skills groups, and trainings.
• Deescalation techniques and crisis support.
• Collaborate with school staff and other Signature Health services.
• Assist in developing and implementing student school and behavior care plans and case management.
• Maintain client charting per Medicaid/ODADAS/ODMHS standards in EMR.
