Job summary

UCFS Healthcare in Norwich, CT, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician II for a school-based role. You will assess students, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with school personnel and families to support emotional and behavioral health.

The position requires a Master’s degree, CT licensure, and 4+ years of pediatric behavioral health experience. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. This role offers a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, in a middle school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in CT (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).
• Minimum 4 years of experience treating children/adolescents with behavioral challenges.
• Spanish preferred or bilingual能力 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and evidence-based mental health services to students.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans weekly based on goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation per agency and payer requirements (DCF, DMHAS, CT-BHP, Medicaid).
• Assess risk and determine appropriate level of care in crisis situations.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with school staff and external providers.
