UCFS is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician II to provide clinical assessments and treatment planning for individuals, families, couples, and groups in Connecticut. The role emphasizes client-centered and evidence-based practices within a busy, collaborative clinic.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads, maintaining documentation for licensure and payers, assessing risk, and coordinating with psychiatrists and other providers. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
• 2 to 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health services.
• CT State Licensure – LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment using client-centered, evidence-based practices.
• Maintain an active caseload and meet productivity standards.
• Document records timely in EHRs for licensors and payer sources.
• Assess risk and determine level of care for routine and crisis clients.
• Provide on-call support onsite during hours of operation.
• Coordinate treatment with psychiatrists and other providers.
