Job summary

UCFS Healthcare is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician to deliver mental health services to middle school students in a school setting. The role runs 8:00am–2:45pm, 52 weeks per year, full-time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday.

You will conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, coordinate care with school staff and external agencies, and maintain thorough documentation while ensuring ethical standards and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• 4 years of experience treating children and/or adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Must hold CT State Licensure - LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Fluency in Spanish; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in EHR (EPIC) and PowerSchool experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and treatment aligned with quality standards of care.
• Monitor and document progress toward short- and long-term goals.
• Maintain required documentation in EHR and reporting systems.
• Assess risk and coordinate levels of care in crisis situations.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with school personnel and agencies.
