Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Behavior Technician to support students in a school-based setting. You will collaborate with RtI teams and licensed staff to implement behavior plans, model strategies for staff, and guide students through self-regulation activities.

The role requires trauma-informed care expertise, strong data collection, and the ability to work within a district-wide behavioral program, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and travel within

Qualifications

• Ability to collect and interpret diverse types of student behavioral data or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with students and their families.
• Advanced verbal and written English communication skills; read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection: gather frequency data, ABC data, and preference assessments with parent/guardian consent.
• Material Creation: develop visual schedules, work systems, and reward charts.
