Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician for our MT PLEASANT, PA program. You will work one-on-one with autistic/emotional support students in a school setting, following IEP and PBSP goals to support academic and behavioral progress.

No experience required—paid training is provided. This role runs Monday through Friday during a standard school day, offering a fulfilling chance to contribute to students' development in a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work Full Day of 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Monday - Friday.
• 3-6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete timely ongoing data collection and documentation.
• Provide behavioral interventions as needed; may include physical prompting or restraint per training.
• Monitor client performance and record progress.
• Assist clients/students with activities and daily living, incl. toileting and grooming.
• Collaborate with families and team for continuity of care.
• Follow client behavior plans and reinforcement systems; complete training as assigned.
