Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Philadelphia, PA to join our school-based program. You will work one-on-one with students, following IEP and PBSP goals, and provide behavioral support in a trauma-informed setting.

No prior experience required—paid training is provided, and the role runs Monday–Friday during the full school day (8:30am–3:15pm) with compensation at $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Availability to work Full Day of 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Monday – Friday
• 3-6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with autistic/emotional support students following each child’s IEP and PBSP.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection and required documentation.
• Provide behavioral and physical interventions as needed, training provided.
• Collaborate with families and school team for continuity of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and grooming as needed.
