Job summary

Granite School District seeks a Behavior Support Technician (BST) to work with students facing severe behavior challenges in the district. The BST operates under behavior specialists, collecting data and drafting behavior interventions while training paraeducators to ensure consistency across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Certified or in process of RBT credential within 6 months, BCBA-approved.
• Valid driver’s license and independent transport to travel between schools.

Responsibilities

• Implements behavior strategies and provides 1:1 or small group instruction to students with challenging behaviors.
• Delivers direct instruction in special and general education settings.
• Collects data on behavior and academic targets.
