Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA for on-site roles in Eastern Long Island, NY. The position supports students with behavioral needs in educational settings, with both part-time (FFS) and full-time options.

Compensation includes hourly rates or annual salary depending on the engagement. Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, data-driven interventions, and collaborating with school staff, families, and IEP teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• BCBA certification preferred.
• NY driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify functions of behavior.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with student needs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide intervention adjustments.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and attend CSE meetings as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation and protect student confidentiality.
