Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. The position supports schools and families with individualized behavioral plans and data-driven interventions.

Roles may be Part-Time (FFS) or Full-Time, with a compensation range that reflects hourly and yearly payments. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in ABA or related field and NYS BCBA/BCABA certification, with at least one year of relevant experience and a valid NYS driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• NYS Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with schools and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function of behavior and intervention strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student needs and goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide ongoing coaching and staff training on behavior management.
• Attend CSE meetings to present progress and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/FERPA and company policies.
