Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY seeks a part-time BCBA/Behavior Consultant to support students with behavioral needs. The role involves on-site collaboration with school teams, families, and specialists to implement evidence-based supports.

The ideal candidate has BCBA certification (preferred), a master’s in a related field, and at least one year of experience. Benefits are offered for full-time hires and opportunities for continued professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with school staff and families.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to implement behavioral plans.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school personnel and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and identify functions of behavior to inform interventions.
• Design and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
