Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team in Mays Landing, NJ. The role focuses on functional assessments, designing interventions, and supervising ABA therapists across environments.

The BCBA will develop and implement behavior analytic programs, mentor staff, and conduct parent trainings, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice and collaboration with school personnel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
• Active BCBA Certification and NJ LBA Licensure.
• 2+ years of experience with children on the Autism spectrum.
• Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop programs.
• Provide parent training and supervise clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with instructional treatment team.
• Provide consultation within schools with administrators, CST, teachers, and other staff.
• Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings.
• Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Conduct behavior analysis to develop a functional, individualized program.
• Provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team.

Education

Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field

Active BCBA Certification

LBA Licensure (NJ)

2+ years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum

Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments

Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans

Complete skill assessments: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS

Provide parent training

Practical support and leadership skills
