Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based role in the Mays Landing, NJ area. The BCBA will conduct functional behavioral assessments, design and supervise interventions, and mentor ABA staff across multiple environments.

The position emphasizes ethical practice and collaboration with school teams and families. The role requires active BCBA certification, NJ licensure, and 2+ years of autism experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
• Active BCBA Certification.
• LBA Licensure (NJ).
• 2+ years of experience with children on the Autism spectrum.
• Conduct functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
• Complete ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS.
• Provide parent training.
• Practical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with instructional treatment team.
• Consult with school personnel including administrators and teachers.
• Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings.
• Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Develop and implement functional behavioral programs.
• Directly train and supervise clinical support team.
