Job summary

First Children Services in Pompton Lakes, NJ is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time exempt position. You will conduct functional behavioral assessments and design, supervise behavior analytic interventions across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in psychology or related field, an active BCBA certification, and NJ LBA licensure, with 2+ years of experience with children on the autism spectrum.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
• Active BCBA Certification.
• LBA Licensure (NJ).
• 2+ years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum.
• Conduct functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
• Complete skill assessments: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS.
• Provide parent training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with instructional treatment team.
• Provide consultation within schools with administrators, teachers and school personnel.
• Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings.
• Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Conduct behavior analysis to develop functional, individualized programs.
• Supervise clinical support team.
