Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to conduct functional behavioral assessments and design and supervise analysis-based interventions. The BCBA will guide treatment across multiple environments, collaborating with school personnel and families while ensuring ethical, evidence-based practices.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology or related field, a valid NJ LBA licensure, and BCBA certification, with 2+ years of autism-related experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field required.
• Active BCBA Certification required.
• LBA Licensure (NJ) required.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required.
• 2+ years of experience with children on the Autism spectrum required.
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments required.
• Experience creating Behavior Intervention Plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with instructional treatment team.
• Provide consultation with schools and staff.
• Participate in family meetings and parent trainings.
• Provide interactive behavioral solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments to develop individualized programs.
• Provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team.
