Care Options for Kids is hiring a School-Based BCBA to lead behavioral support in classrooms, assess student needs, design and oversee IEP-aligned intervention programs, and monitor progress toward meaningful outcomes in collaboration with teachers and families. This role emphasizes quality, collaboration, and sustainable caseloads over volume.

The position features a daytime school schedule with no evenings or weekends, ongoing training, and a mentoring program supported by clinical and school

Qualifications

• Active BCBA credential.
• Experience with children or in school-based settings.
• Strong assessment, data analysis and program development skills.
• Experience developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans aligned with IEPs.
• Ability to collaborate with families, educators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely manage physical behaviors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess student needs and design behavior intervention programs.
• Oversee behavior intervention programs aligned with IEPs.
• Monitor progress to ensure meaningful outcomes.
• Collaborate with educators, families and related service providers.
• Provide training, supervision, and guidance to school-based teams implementing behavior plans.
