Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support elementary students in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves direct ABA therapy, classroom collaboration, and district-level behavior services as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in ABA, BCBA certification, and at least 3 years of experience in educational settings, delivering FBAs and behavior plans with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy or behavioral services, preferably in an educational setting.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing/implementing behavior plans.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices and behavioral interventions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results.
• Provide direct ABA therapy and behavioral support to students using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
• Train and coach school staff on ABA principles and behavioral strategies.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and evaluate interventions.
