Job summary

Berkeley Charter Education Association in South Carolina seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, implement, and monitor ABA services across BCEA schools. You will collaborate with educators and ESE teams to promote positive behavior, support IEP/504 plans, and enhance academic and social-emotional outcomes for students with behavioral or developmental needs.

The BCBA will lead FBAs/BIPs, train staff, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with regulations while supervising

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with behavioral needs.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs in educational settings.
• Experience in public charter or urban school settings.
• Familiarity with MTSS and PBIS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs.
• Implement ABA strategies and oversee their classroom application.
• Provide training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff on interventions and data collection.
• Monitor progress through data collection and analysis to ensure fidelity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support autism and developmental needs.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings with behavior expertise.
• Coach staff on behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention guidance aligned with school expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
• Supervise RBTs or paraprofessionals as applicable.
• Apply ABA principles to design effective interventions.
