Job summary

Five Town CSD & MSAD #28 seeks a School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Camden Rockport Elementary School in Camden, ME. The role develops evidence-based behavioral and instructional programs, supports IEP implementation, analyzes progress data, and coaches staff to promote student progress in the least restrictive environment.

The position follows the teacher contract (184 days) plus 5 days, prorated at start.

Qualifications

• Background check, including fingerprinting.
• Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval.
• Certification as a BCBA through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Advanced Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support development of programmatic structures in day treatment and life skills.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to identify root causes.
• Design customized behavior intervention plans based on evidence-based strategies.
• Measure data over time to monitor intervention effectiveness.
• Participate in IEP meetings and document progress.
• Assist with crisis and behavior management support.
• Collaborate with families and school staff.
