Job summary

Camden Rockport Elementary School in Camden, ME is seeking a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, 189-day calendar position with benefits. The BCBA will collaborate with school teams to implement evidence-based behavioral and instructional programming for students with diverse needs.

The role involves developing and monitoring individualized programming, supporting IEP implementation, data analysis, and staff training.

Qualifications

Background check, including fingerprinting.
Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval.
Certification as a BCBA through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Advanced Degree required.

Responsibilities

Support the development of programmatic structures in the day treatment and life skills programs.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root cause of challenging behaviors.
Design customized behavior intervention plans based in evidence-based strategies.
Measure student data over time to monitor effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments based on data.
Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
Assist with crisis and behavior management support.
Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff.
