Job summary

GrowWell Child Psychology is seeking a dedicated BCBA consultant for a half-time role, serving multiple school districts in Southern Maine. The position focuses on high-quality, evidence-based evaluation, staff training, and development of behavior support plans within school systems.

Responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, designing function-based plans, coaching staff, and collaborating with families and district teams. Occasional travel to school sites is required.

Qualifications

• BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience in public school settings and school-based behavioral systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to evidence-based behavior change interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Design and revise function-based Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Use evidence-based practices for progress monitoring and decision-making.
• Provide staff coaching and ongoing consultation to teachers, technicians, and administrators.
• Collaborate with educators, psychologists, social workers, therapists, and parents.
• Align schedule with public school calendars and participate in before/after-school meetings.
