Job summary

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support students with disabilities across multiple buildings. The BCBA will conduct functional assessments, develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators.

This grant-funded, full-time position emphasizes data-driven strategies, staff coaching, and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required.
• Recent BCBA experience in schools serving students with emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Knowledge of evidence-based methods for supporting students with emotional disabilities.
• Ability to write high-quality legally defensible Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with administrators, teachers, and district staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Develop Behavior Intervention Plans with teachers and teams.
• Provide training, collaborative consultation, coaching, and technical assistance to staff and administrators.
• Support data collection, Functional Behavior Assessments, and team completion of Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Collaborate on research and development of training materials and workshops.
• Attend IEP and evaluation meetings as requested or assigned.
• Report findings and assist in implementing student IEPs as needed.
• Provide staff with tools for gathering baseline data and monitoring progress.
