Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to improve student access to learning by assessing and addressing behaviors that interfere with academic, social, and emotional success.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and providing coaching and professional development to staff to strengthen behavior support practices in general and special education settings.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required or clearly in process.
• Internship or formal training in behavior analysis and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver professional development on behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with staff to design proactive behavioral supports.
• Lead Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Supervise RBTs in line with BACB requirements and district needs.
• Monitor progress with data collection and adjust interventions accordingly.
