Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley School District seeks an American Sign Language Interpreter for the 2026-27 school year to support deaf or hard of hearing students. This temporary assignment aligns with the 2025-26 PSE Salary Schedule and runs Aug 26, 2026 through Jun 11, 2027.

Required credentials include EIPA 3.5+ or RID certification with passing EIPA written test, or the ability to obtain within one year. First Aid/CPR/AED certification is also required or obtainable within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• EIPA score 3.5+ or RID certification with passing EIPA written test; or ability to obtain within one year.
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED card or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide American Sign Language interpretation in classrooms and school settings to support deaf or hard of hearing students.
• Assignments determined by the building to support students during the school day.

Education

Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score 3.5+

National Interpreter Certification (RID)
